When will Episode 11 of ‘Crash Landing On You’ be on Netflix?

Fans needn’t worry, Crash Landing on You will be returning soon with episode 11, but the series is taking a small one week break. As South Korea celebrates the start of the Lunar New Year, you’ll have to wait patiently before the beloved k-drama returns. Here’s when episode 11 of Crash Landing on You will be on Netflix.

The popularity of Crash Landing on You has skyrocketed and has the potential to become the highest-rated cable television drama in South Korean history, which we’ll be discussing further in the article below.

What is Crash Landing on You?

Crash Landing on You is a Netflix Original K-Drama series created by Studio Dragon. The series is licensed internationally by Netflix and is available to subscribers all around the world. One of the most popular k-dramas in recent memory, a lot of the attention the series is receiving can be credited to the basis of the story that is centered on North Korea.

The Beautiful fashion heiress, Yoon Se-ri, crash lands in North Korea after she is swept in a windstorm on her paraglider. As she crashes from the tree, she lands on North Korean military officer, Lee Jung-hyeok. Despite being a man of principle and without compromise, Lee Jung-hyeok decides to help Yoon Se-ri, and hides her from the North Korean authorities. As the pair learn more and more about each other and grow closer, it’s not long before the pair begins to fall in love.

When will Episode 11 of Crash Landing On You be on Netflix?

Before fans begin to panic you won’t have to wait long before the eleventh episode of Crash Landing on You is available on Netflix.

Episode 11 will be available to subscribers on February 2nd, 2020. The twelfth episode will be available 24 hours later.

Why is Crash Landing on You taking a break?

Just like the Chinese, Korea also celebrates the Lunar New Year. tVNs broadcast of Crash Landing With You would have fallen on the 25th of January, the day of the Lunar New Year, so instead of the latest episode, a special celebration broadcast to celebrate the new year will be shown instead.

Will Crash Landing on You become the highest-rated Korean drama in cable-television history?

At the time of writing, Crash Landing on You has taken the fifth spot as the highest-rated Korean drama in cable television history. The tenth episode had a huge 14.633%, which is a massive improvement upon its premiere, which sits at 6.07%.

To beat the highest-rated Korean drama, Sky Castle, the Nationwide rating of Crash Landing on You would have to exceed 23.779%.

One disadvantage of Crash Landing on You is the number of episodes remaining, which is a total of six. With 16 episodes in the first season, that’s four short of Sky Castle which aired 20.

There’s a huge potential that Crash Landing on You can exceed Sky Castle’s staggering figures. Every single episode of Crash Landing on You has beaten the ratings of the Sky Castle’s respective episodes:

Episode Count Crash Landing on You rating Sky Castle rating
1 6.074% 1.727%
2 6.845% 4.373%
3 7.414% 5.186%
4 8.499% 7.496%
5 8.730% 7.487%
6 9.223% 8.934%
7 9.394% 8.432%
8 11.349% 9.539%
9 11.516% 9.714%
10 14.633% 11.298%
11 TBB* 9.585%
12 TBB* 12.305%
13 TBB* 13.279%
14 TBB* 15.780%
15 TBB* 16.397%
16 TBB* 19.243%
17 N/A 19.923%
18 N/A 22.316%
19 N/A 23.216%
20 N/A 23.779%

*TBB = To Be Broadcast

As you can see from the table above there is a distinct chance that Crash Landing on You will beat Sky Castle. To claim the number one spot, Crash Landing on You needs a meteoric 9.147% rise in the ratings.

When will ‘Grace and Frankie’ Season 7 be on Netflix?

Grace & Frankie – Picture: Netflix

Grace and Frankie are back with season 6 on Netflix and their penultimate season has many feeling bittersweet as we fast approach the final season of Grace & Frankie. Here’s everything we know so far about season 7 of Grace & Frankie including when it’s likely to release, where it is in production and anything else that’s relevant.

Netflix’s premier comedy series has been a triumph and was there any doubt? After all, it recruited the talents of Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin to play the main roles and hired the creator of NBC’s Friends (no longer on Netflix in the US) to create the series.

Season 6 is available on Netflix as of January 15th, 2020 globally.

Note: this is a live article and will be updated with plot theories and more information once the show’s sixth season is released on Netflix.

Why is Season 7 of Grace & Frankie the final season?

On September 4th, 2019 we got word that Grace & Frankie had already been renewed ahead of its January 2020 season 6 release date. The official Twitter account also confirmed the news that season 7 is a go.

We’ve seen Ryan Gosling chairs, yam lube, vibrators, broken hearts, new loves and a whole lot of weed, and we still have so much more to share with you. Grace and Frankie Season 6 and 7 coming soon.

— Grace and Frankie (@GraceandFrankie) September 4, 2019

When the show got its seventh season renewal (which was alongside season 6) it was announced that it would be the final.

Officially we don’t know why Netflix has chosen that season 7 will be the final season but it’s likely due to the showrunners naturally wanting to conclude the show. Too many shows go on for too long and although a regular conversation about Netflix shows is how quickly they get axed, Grace & Frankie has had plenty of time in the limelight.

Speaking to Variety, Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris said:

“It’s thrilling and somehow fitting, that our show about the challenges, as well as the beauty and dignity of aging,  will be the oldest show on Netflix.”

Marta Kauffman already has several new projects in the work according to an interview she recently partook in for RollingStone. That includes a pilot going to TNT and a screenplay based on the book “We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves”

Where is Grace & Frankie season 7 in production?

According to our sources, Grace & Frankie will soon begin production on its seventh and final season. In fact, filming for the seventh season is scheduled to begin on January 27th, 2020.

As per previous seasons, all the new episodes are expected to be shot in Los Angeles with Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris returning to show running duties.

When will season 7 of Grace and Frankie release on Netflix?

This early in development, it’s impossible to give an exact release date but given the production schedule the show is on at the moment and given the fact the show has ket a consistent schedule for the past few seasons, it makes it easier.

Season 4, 5 and 6 have all released on Netflix in the first month of the year.

That’s why we’re currently predicting that season 7 of Grace & Frankie will be on Netflix in January 2021.

Everything else you need to know about season 7 of Grace & Frankie

  • Unlike previous seasons, an expanded 16 episodes will be included in season 7 bringing the total episode count of the show to 94.
  • Grace & Frankie is the longest-running show in Netflix’s history and will remain that way for some time given The Ranch is also due to end after part 8.
  • Jane Fonda has been in the press a lot over the past year mainly due to her efforts in the climate change activism debate. She’s been organizing many protests in Washington DC.

Here are a few reactions to the news that Netflix’s Grace & Frankie will be coming to an end.

I’m glad season 7 of Grace and Frankie is about Sol and Grace protesting climate change #janefonda #SamWaterston

‘You’ Season 3: Renewal Officially Confirmed & What We Know So Far

YOU – Picture: Netflix

After another excellent season of You, it should come as no surprise that Netflix has officially renewed the series for a third season! There’s potential we could see the third season arrive at some point in either 2020 or 2021. We’ll be keeping track of all the information you’ll want to know about the third season of You, including the production status, casting news, trailers and most importantly the Netflix release date.

In less than a month Netflix has confirmed its commitment to You, by renewing the popular psychological-crime drama for a third season.

The second season saw a change of scenery for Joe, moving from the Big Apple that is New York to the Golden Coast of Los Angeles. Changing his name to ‘Will’ it didn’t take long before his new muse arrived, Love Quinn. Despite his determination to change his murderous way, naturally, people just seemed to die around Joe. A climactic finale left fans wanting more, and thankfully Netflix will be providing the goods eventually.

What to expect from season 3 of You

*Huge Spoilers for Season 2*

The second season saw a huge twist at the end of the ninth episode when it was revealed that Love Quinn, had murdered Delilah. Joe was out Joe’d by Love when she revealed she had been following him and knew of his antics all along, but loved him all the same. She also revealed she framed her brother, Forty, and killed his lover when they were teenagers.

Forty, unaware of his sister’s actions, attempted to protect her from Joe but ultimately lead to his death. Attempting to execute Joe, Forty was shot and killed by Officer Vasquez, who had followed Delilah’s sister to Anavrin. With Forty’s attempted murder and the Quinn’s money, Joe was wiped off the suspect list for Henderson’s death.

Moving to a home in the suburbs with a heavily pregnant Love, the third season is set up when Joe heavily hints his new muse will be his next-door neighbor.

Lead actor, Penn Badgley has stated that Joe will go looking to get back what was taken from him in his childhood.

When speaking to Entertainment Tonight about where the series head next (video embedded below) he unofficially suggests a third season is on the way.

With the books ending at two, a third season will see the largest leap yet away from the source material. Caroline Kepnes’ book Hidden Bodies was the inspiration for the story of the second season, and despite the series deterring from the main plot of the book, it was still a wealth of information on the characters. Caroline Kepnes’s only work since that release being Providence, a separate story altogether.

What else could we expect from season 3? We’re expecting it to keep with its increased love of violence which is partially allowed by Netflix’s freedom from advertisers. We’re expecting more big cameos such as Chris D’Elia who featured in season 2.

Showrunner Sera Gamble has stated that they do have plans for season 3 having said back in January 2019: “I will say that we have an idea for season three that is SO exciting that people talk about it in the [writer’s] room every day.”

Has You been renewed for season 3 at Netflix?

Official renewal status: Renewed (last updated: 14/01/2020)

After taking over production from Lifetime, Netflix is the sole decider when it comes to renewing You.

Thankfully Netflix has delivered and a third season will be on the way in the near future!

According to our sources, season 3 of You is in “active development”, so hopefully filming will start soon. It also states that Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble will remain the showrunners for season 3 and it’s due to be filmed in California.

The renewal for You was helped by the amount of money that Netflix earned from tax breaks by filming in California. Unless something drastic changes, it looks like Joe will be staying in California.

In the tax credit list, it states that Horizon Scripted Television Inc remains the production company and they received $7.2M in credits. As Deadline points out, however, “Receiving a tax credit does not guarantee a renewal but it helps secure one as it makes a series more advantageous financially.”

When will season 3 of You release on Netflix?

The most important question of all.

When could we expect to see You season 3 on Netflix?

With the extremely fast renewal and the quick turn around for the production of the second season, we can see You return to Netflix in Winter 2020.

Are you looking forward to another season of You? Let us know in the comments.

What Time will Season 6 of ‘Grace and Frankie’ be on Netflix?

Season 6 of Grace and Frankie arrives on Netflix tomorrow

Rejoice subscribers, the sixth and penultimate season of Grace and Frankie is arriving tomorrow! Make sure you know what time Grace and Frankie is available to stream on Netflix with our regional timetable below!

Grace and Frankie is a Netflix Original comedy series created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris. The series had a bumpy start to life when it aired in 2015, but soon became one of the most beloved Originals on the streaming service, and is currently the longest-running series.

Retirees Grace and Frankie have always been at odds with each other for most of their lives. Grace is a now-retired cosmetics mogul while Frankie was a hippie art teacher. The one thing they do have in common besides age was that their husbands are successful lawyers in the city of San Diego. The rival’s lives are changed forever when their husbands declare their love for each other and will be leaving their wives. Shaken by this overwhelming change in their lives, the once at odds pair are forced to live with each other and learn together how to cope with their new lives.

Why is Grace and Frankie arriving on a Wednesday?

The significance of a Wednesday release date for Grace and Frankie is lost on us as typically the biggest shows arrive on Fridays.

This isn’t the first instance that big titles have launched outside of a Friday, the most notable instance was the release of Stranger Things on July 4th, 2019 which was Independence Day and a Thursday.

Regardless, it means the series arrives two days earlier than normal!

Is this the final season of Grace and Frankie?

There’s still one more season to go of Grace and Frankie, and will conclude in 2021 with the release of season 7.

By the end of season seven, there will be a total of 94 episodes of the beloved comedy, making it the longest-running Netflix Original to date.

New Releases on Netflix: January 14th, 2020

The Master – Picture: The Weinstein Company

Happy Tuesday and welcome to your first roundup of the new releases on Netflix. Below, we’ll be recapping all of the new releases for both January 13th which saw three new additions and January 14th which has seen four new additions.

This week has some great returning Netflix Originals including Sex Education coming up over the weekend and Grace and Frankie back for season 6 tomorrow. We’ve got a full preview for the week here.

The Master (2012)

Genre: Drama
Director: Paul Thomas Anderson
Cast: Joaquin Phoenix, Price Carson, Mike Howard, Sarah Shoshana David
Runtime: 138 min
Language: English
Awards: Nominated for 3 Oscars. Another 76 wins & 180 nominations.

Joaquin Phoenix is rightfully in the news headlines a lot this week thanks to his nominations for his incredible performance in WB’s Joker. We’re pleased to see The Master return to Netflix today after streaming elsewhere for a number of years now. It too scored three Oscar nominations when it first released back in 2012.

The movie is about a Naval veteran returning home from active duty and feeling a bit lost in life. That’s until he finds himself into a cult that gives his life meaning again.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts (Season 1)

Genre: Animation, Action, Adventure, Fantasy
Cast: Karen Fukuhara

Our second highlight today is one of my personally most anticipated titles to come out of Dreamworks TV for Netflix. Based on the 2015 comics of the same name, this beautifully animated title sees Kipo go exploring the world after an apocalyptic event.

Among the impressive voice cast for the series is Karen Fukuhara, Sydney Mikayla, Deon Cole, Coy Stewart, Jake Green, and Ian Harding.

Leslie Jones: Time Machine (2020)

Genre: Stand-up Comedy
Director: David Benioff, D.B. Weiss
Cast: Leslie Jones

Yes, your eyes don’t deceive you that is the showrunners and writers behind Game of Thrones directing this new stand-up special. As you may know, the pair have an overall output deal with Netflix and although we don’t believe this special counts, it’s certainly an indication that we could expect anything from David Benioff and D.B. Weiss going forward.

Leslie Jones is well-known for her regular spot on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. In her first Netflix special, she discusses her journey to becoming an adult. The special is just over an hour long.

Netflix Original ‘Red Notice’ Starring Dwayne Johnson Begins Filming

Set to be one of the biggest films in Netflix’s history, we can now confirm that Red Notice, starring Dwayne Johnson has begun filming. We’ll also be keeping you up to date with all the information you’ll need to know about the upcoming Original, including the plot, cast, trailer, and Netflix release date.

Red Notice is an upcoming Netflix Original action-comedy film written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. This will be the third time that Thurber and Dwayne Johnson have worked together, having previously worked on Central Intelligence and Skyscraper. For any fans of the book Red Notice, the only element shared between the film and the movie is the title.

When is the Netflix release date for Red Notice?

Prior to Netflix picking up the film for their Original slate, Red Notice was set to be produced by Universal. Since the move to Netflix, the release date for Red Notice has been pushed back to an unconfirmed date.

With filming beginning in January, at the earliest, we could see a December release date for Red Notice. It’s more than likely that the action-comedy will arrive in the first few months of 2021.

What is the plot of Red Notice?

With very little plot revealed, a small synopsis has been provided by Netflix for Red Notice:

An interpol police agent tracks down the most wanted art thief.

Who are the cast members of Red Notice?

The following cast members have been confirmed to star in Red Notice:

Role Cast Member Where Have I Seen/Heard Them Before?
TBA Ryan Reynolds Deadpool | Deadpool 2 | Buried
TBA Dwayne Johnson Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle | Moana | Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw
TBA Gal Gadot Wonder Woman | Death on the Nile | Keeping Up with the Joneses
Child Victoria Paige Watkins Jessie | NCIS: New Orleans | Legacies

The full cast has yet to be announced, along with the roles with lead roles for the stars of the film.

When the announcement was made, it was reported by Deadline that Dwayne Johnson will earn $20 million for his salary. With the sheer number of movies Johnson has starred in recent years, he must have made a very healthy amount of cash. Both Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot will receive $20 million each for their work on the film.

Red Notice will be the third film Dwayne Johnson (left) and Gal Gadot have starred in together:  (Photo by Paul Drinkwater/NBCUniversal via Getty Images)

What is the production status of Red Notice?

Official Production Status: Filming (Last Updated: 14/01/2020)

According to IMDB, filming has finally begun for Red Notice. Despite the film being listed as filming, we’re yet to see the full list of cast members.

From the filming locations list, the film will feature several different countries such as

  • France
  • Germany
  • Indonesia
  • Italy
  • Spain
  • Russia
Is Red Notice the most expensive film Netflix has produced?

At $160 million Red Notice will become the most expensive film produced by Netflix. It has been reported that the film, once additional fees kick in, could reach as high as $200 million. This budget still pales in comparison to the cost of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which cost a whopping $412 million to produce.
